What is Fair Play?

Fair Play is a science, technology and engineering camp for girls in 8th and 9th grades in the spring of 2008.
This program will introduce the girls to the development process of a project that may be entered in our local affiliate of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
This 12-day science and engineering camp will be held on the New Mexico Tech campus in Socorro, NM. Girls will receive assistance in choosing and developing a topic for a science project and will have hands-on experience with various aspects of science, technology, and engineering. Girls will be introduced to women scientists, engineers, and technology specialists from industry, state and federal agencies, and colleges/universities. In addition, they will learn team-building skills and participate in science-related field trips and summer camp activities.
